Past Performances
- The program for OSSO’s inaugural concert in the Ian Roach Hall on 23 May 2013 included the Ruy Blas Overture by Mendelssohn and the Symphony No 9 in C Major (the Great) by Schubert.
- The program for the orchestra’s second concert, ‘An Afternoon with OSSO‘, on 16 March 2014 included the Die Fledermaus Overture by Strauss, Piano Concerto No. 1 by Brahms and Franck’s Symphony in D Minor.
- The orchestra’s third concert ‘OSSO Con Fuoco‘ was held on Sunday 17 August 2014, and featured Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Beethoven’s Fidelio Overture.
- OSSO’s fourth concert ‘OSSO Con Brio‘ was held on Sunday 22nd March 2015, featuring works such as Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture, Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8, and other well-known favourites.
- OSSO held its fifth concert ‘OSSO Royale‘ on Sunday 23rd August 2015, featuring works such as Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Suite, and Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2.
- OSSO has its first collaboration with Concordis Chamber Choir for the ‘Christmas Fantasia‘ concert held on Sunday 6th December 2015, featuring well-known Christmas carols and much-loved classics.
- The program for the March 2016 concert ‘From Russia with Love‘ featuring Tim Yu playing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major and Prokofiev’s Lieutenant Kijé suite.
- The program for the August 2017 concert ‘England and the Enigma‘ featuring Lyndon Green’s interpretation of Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs and Elgar’s The Enigma Variations Op. 36
