About the Old Scotch Symphony Orchestra
In 2012, OSCA explored the prospect of establishing an Old Scotch Symphony Orchestra as an Old Scotch club.
With the encouragement and help of Scotch’s Director of Music, John Ferguson and an enthusiastic group of interested young Old Boys from the Class of 2012 helped create the Old Scotch Symphony Orchestra nurturing its development. The boys from the Class of 2012 – Jason Ha, James Littlewood, Josh Tram, Ben Ferguson, Peter Massarany and Liang Qu – were the co-founders of OSSO becoming the first ever committee. The OSSO committee now consists of: Jason Ha, Josh Tram, Ben Ferguson, Peter Massarany, Junho Kim, Shao Qin Lim, Jamie Tram and Olivia Hocking-Brown.
Under the guidance of OSSO’s conductor, John Ferguson, the orchestra has stabilised and is now growing from strength to strength each year.
