The Old Scotch Symphony Orchestra cordially invites you to our concert “England and the Enigma” on Sunday 21st of August at 3pm.

OSSO was formed in 2013 by a group of musicians keen to continue the musical tradition fostered at Scotch, and has continued to perform every year since its formation. Under the direction of the current Scotch Director of Music John Ferguson, OSSO welcomes talented musicians from all walks of life, and seeks to perform quality music for the wider Scotch family.

This will be OSSO’s second concert for 2016 and will feature works including Elgar’s Enigma Variations and Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs. These classic English works are sure to capture the essence of British music and entertain audiences young and old.

We will be joined by Scotch College alumnus and tenor Lyndon Green, which promises to be an exciting experience for both the orchestra and the audience. Lyndon was a member of the Scotch College Cardinals in his final year at Scotch, and is now studying a Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne.
